We report transparently. Every project funded by HCF is tracked, and you'll hear directly from the organizations doing the work. We also publish our full financial statements annually on our website, so you can see exactly where funds go. We're not complicated about it.

Funding varies by project and stage. We provide early support designed around what the work actually needs. Let's talk about what makes sense for your project. Most initial funding is around $5K.

We look for community-led conservation work with real local expertise and genuine urgency. We prioritize organizations where local knowledge is valued and the work matters to the people closest to it. We don't need proof of concept, we need belief in your knowledge.

We stay in touch. We want to know how the work is going, celebrate wins, and show up when things get hard. We're not a forever funder, but we're a committed partner through the initial phase of your work.
