Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes. HCF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of U.S. law. Our IRS determination letter can be found here. Our EIN is 84-2776877. You'll receive a receipt for your records.

What if I want to fund a specific project?

You absolutely can. We support custom giving arrangements all the time. If you want to fund a specific project, region, or approach, let's talk. Email us at info@howellconservation.org and we'll find a way to align your giving with the work that matters to you. You can also schedule a call with Brett.

How do I know my money is being used well?

We report transparently. Every project funded by HCF is tracked, and you'll hear directly from the organizations doing the work. We also publish our full financial statements annually on our website, so you can see exactly where funds go. We're not complicated about it.

Can I give monthly donations?

Yes. Monthly gifts are a powerful way to fund early-stage conservation work. They let us make bigger commitments to projects because we know funding is steady. Set up a monthly donation using FundraiseUp and you'll support conservation work for years to come.

Do you accept stock, DAF, or other noncash gifts?

Yes. We can accept gifts of appreciated stock and grants from donor-advised funds. Email us at info@howellconservation.org and we'll walk you through the simplest way to give or schedule a call with Brett.
