Howell Conservation Fund (HCF) was created by founder Brett Howell, a lifelong environmentalist with 15 years’ experience in conservation, nonprofit management, and philanthropic giving. Having worked in nonprofits, corporations, and philanthropies, Brett noted that there were inefficiencies in each market segment that could be rectified by drawing best practices from the other segments.
In 2019, Brett created HCF as a way to bridge the gaps between each area in order to achieve breakthrough solutions through collaboration and market-driven approaches to environmental projects.
